Advancing Teaching Capacity in Catering Learning Diversity -
An APCLC-EPL Subject Head Training Programme

To assist subject heads to become facilitators in their subjects in order to promote subject members’ teaching capacity, The Joseph Lau Luen Hung Charitable Trust Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership and Change (APCLC) and the Department of Education Policy (EPL) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) are delighted to offer the Teacher Entrepreneurial Series: 'Advancing teaching capacity in catering learning diversity' subject head training programme in the 2022/23 academic year. The details are as follows:

  Format
Workshops, online consultation sessions and cross-school lesson observations

July 2022 – April 2023 (please refer to the Course Flyer)
   
  Target Audience
All teachers in school; Up to 4 coordinators (curriculum development coordinators, academic affair coordinators and/or subject coordinators) will receive further training. For primary schools, we recommend the panel heads of Chinese, English, Mathematics or General Studies to attend the further training. For secondary schools, we recommend the panel heads of Chinese, English, Mathematics, science subjects or business subjects to attend the further training.

  Fee
HK$49,700 for 3 workshops for all teachers; 7 workshops, 5 consultation sessions, field experience and lesson observation sessions for up to 4 coordinators (The training hours could be included in the training hours required by the Education Bureau for middle leaders to be promoted to higher ranks.)
