School Improvement Institute 2019

Each year the Executive Master of Arts in International Educational Leadership and Change (IELC) hosts a School Improvement Institute (SII) for school leaders from schools throughout the Asia Pacific region. The 9th such Institute will be held in Hong Kong in early July 2019. Facilitated by Dr. Darren Bryant, Dr. Lu Jiafang, and Dr. Ewan Wright, the theme this year is “Conflict, Crisis and Culture” – discussing school governance and leadership issues when facing external and daily operational challenges. A series of provocation session, data analysis, and group interactions aim at understanding leading through conflict and crises.

The IELC is a cutting-edge online programme that has attracted school leaders and professionals working in Asia-Pacific region, emphasizing educational change in East Asia context.
