APCLC Director is Invited to Join a Select Group
of Thought Leaders Driving Innovation in International Education

On April 1-2, the Council of International Schools (CIS) Membership Summit of Universities and Schools was held in London. The Summit brought together 24 change makers from schools and universities to meet with CIS in London. Collectively, the CIS and the change makers discussed what connections are possible to resolve some of the most significant educational hurdles experienced by students, parents, and educators around the world.

Prof Allan Walker, Dean of Faculty of Education and Human Development and Director of Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership and Change of The Education University of Hong Kong, was invited as one of the change makers and thought leaders of the Summit. Prof Walker shared his thoughts on the purpose of school and university and how we can ensure we don’t lose the values we hold dearest in our efforts to ‘do well’.
