Leaders Forum 19 Jan 2019 -
Teacher and School Leadership in Educational Change


More than 200 principals and teacher leaders from primary, secondary and special schools, as well as officials from the Education Bureau (School Leadership and Professional Development Section) participated in the Teacher and School Leadership in Educational Change. The forum was organized by Teacher and School Development Special Interest Group (SIG) of Department of Education Policy and Leadership (EPL), and The Joseph Lau Luen Hung Charitable Trust Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership and Change (APCLC) of The Education University of Hong Kong.

Prof. Allan Walker, Prof. Chiu Chi-shing and Dr. Daphnee Lee led the event. The Forum focuses on the introduction of T-Standard+, which is presented by scholar practitioners from the EPL and the APCLC, whose work focuses on school and teacher leadership in educational change, including:

  How can Principals Build Vibrant Learning Organizations? How to Inspire Teacher Leaders via Professional Learning Communities? (Dr Daphnee Lee, Prof. Chiu Chi Shing, Mr Joe Hui)
