New APCLC Associate Director Appointed

The Asia Pacific Centre of Leadership and Change (APCLC) is delighted to announce the appointment of James Y. O. Ko the APCLC’s Associate Director (KT & Development Programmes), a role that will strengthen the APCLC's strategic engagement and leader development of local education community.

James is currently an Assistant Professor in Department of Education Policy and Leadership at The Education University of Hong Kong. He has wide ranging experience of training and education in linguistics, psychology, and education. His research experience and interests are diverse. He has worked in various large-scale research projects funded by the RGC in Hong Kong and by the ESRC and DSCF in the UK. He collaborates with local academics, scholar-practitioners and overseas researchers of the University of Oxford, the University of Cyprus, the University of Groningen, the University of Nottingham, Nottingham Trent University, and the University of Helsinki in local and international research projects.

James will be working alongside Director Professor Allan Walker, Co-Director Dr Qian Haiyan and other APCLC Associate Directors Dr Lu Jiafang and Dr Darren Bryant, our global-wide senior management team, research network and the Hong Kong based secretariat in advancing our collective vision of creating and transforming knowledge for the development of leadership for learning and change in the Asia Pacific region.
