APCLC Director Is Invited to Participate in the Global Education Dean's Forum

On October 24-26, the inaugural Global Education Dean's Forum will be held in East China Normal University, Shanghai. The Forum is an annual event intended to be a regular mechanism for cooperation and dialogue among leaders of the world’s leading schools of education. More than 30 deans from world’s leading tertiary institutes of education will attend the Forum, including foreign deans from Americas, Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Europe and the domestic deans from the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong.

Prof Allan Walker, Dean of Faculty of Education and Human Development and Director of Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership and Change of The Education University of Hong Kong, is invited to participate in the Forum. With the theme of “The Emerging Challenges of Globalization of Education, Prof Walker will discuss the existing and emerging challenges, particularly those resulting from the increasing globalization of education through sharing of ideas and partnerships across national and systemic boundaries.
