The 55th Annual Meeting of Journal of Educational Administration

On 19 April, the 55th Annual meeting of the Journal of Educational Administration (JEA), hosted by the APCLC, was held in San Antonio, Texas in conjunction with the American Educational Research Association’s Annual Meeting 2017. During the meeting, the editors announced the winners of two annual awards. Participants from Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Israel, The United Kingdom and The United States were in attendance.

The A. Ross Thomas Outstanding Paper Award is selected annually by EAB members from among the 36 papers published in the most recently completed volume of JEA. JEA sponsors the Educational Leadership and Strategy category of the Emerald / European Foundation for Management and Development Outstanding Doctoral Research Award. Each year JEA selects the Outstanding and Highly Recommended dissertations. Winners of the Outstanding Dissertation receive an certificate and a cash prize.
