Social Transformations in Chinese Societies (STICS)  is a double-blind peer reviewed journal which provides an academic venue for researchers from all over the world to disseminate their findings and engage in intellectual debate on major issues related to Chinese societies.  STICS is the official journal of The Hong Kong Sociological Association (HKSA). Prof. Lui Tai-lok and Dr. Brian C.H. Fong, Director and Associate Director of The Academy of Hong Kong Studies, are the chief editor and associate editor of STICS respectively.
