Through lecture, workshop, school visiting, in-service teacher sharing, school support and teacher group activity, the program aims to facilitate teachers to understand the ideas and practices of Life Education (LE), including experiences in developing relevant concepts and professional trainings for teachers in LE in the neighboring regions as well as Hong Kong, so that the teachers could be equipped to effectively foster and implement LE in schools, and eventually to enhance the children and teenager’s resilience to cope with various challenges with different life skills.
The 3-credit-points program comprises the following contents:
In addition to the 30-hours classes, 9 hours of independent study on campus (e.g. group work, individual or group consultation and project preparation in library) will be offered.
The medium of instruction is Chinese (supplemented by English where appropriate).

Remarks: Priority of admission will be given to applicants who are the team member in moral and civic education panel / life and religious education panel / committees for student support (such as life skills education, discipline, counseling, home-school collaboration, service learning and other learning experiences etc.). Please list the working experience related to the fields above in Principal's Recommendation Letter.
To be awarded a Certificate of Completion, participants must obtain a pass in all assessment tasks required and successfully fulfill the attendance requirements as stipulated by the program.
Participants who complete our PDPs are eligible to apply for credit transfer if they enroll in our postgraduate programs. Their applications will be considered on an individual basis.
