Great news! Upon the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) panel visit during 20-21 Jul 2017, HKCAAVQ determines that EdUHK can be granted the Programme Area Accreditation (PAA) status for the programme area “Psychology” at Qualifications Framework (QF) Level 5 under the Area of Study and Training “Social Sciences” for a validity period of five years from 1 September 2017 to 31 August 2022.
With the PAA status, it enables the EdUHK to offer programmes up to the QF Level 5 without prior learning programme accreditation by HKCAAVQ in the programme area “psychology”. These programmes are also eligible for entry into the Qualifications Register. The panel highly commended the passion and commitment of the faculty members, thank you for the tremendous effort from all the faculty members and staff involved in the accreditation exercise.
