Kammy Wan's outstanding teaching practice was rewarded at the Election for Hong Kong Prospective Teachers this week.
Year 5 BEd(ECE) student Kammy impressed the judging panel with her innovative teaching.
She took thematic teaching to the next level with her skilful use of paper dolls and self-devised board games.
“The journey would not have been possible without the support of Dr. Betty Wong and my mentoring teacher of practicum kindergarten. She coached me throughout my practicum. She turned me to a competent enthusiastic kindergarten teacher.” Kammy said.
Among 128 contestants, Kammy is the only gold awardee studying early childhood education at government funded university.
