A group of enthusiastic pre-service teachers on B.Ed. and PGDE programmes at EdUHK and Swinburne University of Technology (QUT) shared their valuable internship and FE teaching experiences in schools, facilitated by Dr Percy Kwok (EPL Dept.), Dr. Jennifer Cutri and Dr. Gerarda Richards (QUT) in an innovative online exchange on Tuesday 16th April 2024. An experienced DSE programme coordinator, Mr. Mingson Lam, joined as a discussant, and from this, there was an ardent sharing of learning and teaching topics covering STEM integration models, effective classroom management techniques, feasible tactics in catering for learner diversity in large classes, and support Special Educational Needs (SEN) in kindergarten, primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong and Australia.
