Dr Derwin Chan King-chung appointed Editor-in-Chief by Wiley

Dr CHAN, King-chung Derwin | Associate Head (Research & Development) and Associate Professor, Department of Early Childhood Education

Dr Derwin Chan King-chung, Associate Professor and Associate Head (Research and Development) at the Department of Early Childhood Education of The Education University of Hong Kong, was appointed by John Wiley & Sons (Wiley), one of the leading academic publishers in the world, as the Editor-in-Chief of Stress and Health for three years beginning January 2021.

 
Stress and Health is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that has published multidisciplinary research articles since 1985 on the relationship among stress, health, and well-being. The journal is indexed in various psychology and psychiatry disciplines in the Web of Science with an impact factor of 2.34 (Clarivate Analytics 2019).

 
Dr Chan had served as an editorial board member, and then associate editor of the journal for the last eight years, before he was promoted to the Editor-in-Chief position. As the editor for the coming years, Dr Chan will oversee the peer review process, and ensure the journal will continue to disseminate cutting-edge theoretical and empirical research that advances the understanding of the role of stress on human health and well-being.
