First-ever “CLE’s Got Talent” a big success!

On Jan 29, 2019, CLE held its first “CLE’s Got Talent” show, exhibiting student performances of musical, dancing and magic acts. The show was a big success as it was truly a wonderful and diverse showing of impressive talent.

Being advertised as a cultural talent show, the event attracted those who wanted to display their artistic ability and present their heritage, or even just their own perspective and talent as part of a larger youth culture. The show hosted nine acts made by sixteen performers including singers, musicians, dancers - both classical and modern, but all very talented and eager.

Having outdone themselves, the performers and audience alike let themselves loose on the dance floor under neon lights and all the best party songs before the Top Three of the event were announced. Live voting commenced as the final winners were left up to audience voting. Called under the very inconspicuous and completely not obvious balloon drop, the winners were announced… the dance quartet! Amid the drifting balloons and the beaming applause, our winners embraced their fellow contestants and supporters, bringing the night and weeks of effort to a satisfying end.
