  Meetings: Sunday -Tuesday, March 6-8, 2016
Sunday : 6:20 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (optional self-financed dinner)
Monday: 8:45 a.m. - 6:15 p.m.
Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

  Foreigners holding travel documents issued by the following countries/regions will require a visa to enter Singapore:

5. How will we get from the airport to the conference hotel/venue?

6. How do I book a hotel room?
  -Unless otherwise advised in advance, your room bill for March 6th and March 8th will be covered by the Roundtable. You will be responsible for all other expenses incurred.

8. Who is attending?
  Participation is by-invitation only, and limited to 60+ scholars, scholar-practitioners, training managers, policymakers, and principals from 15 countries / territories in the region and beyond. Thus far we have received 60+ confirmations from China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Australia, Chile, the United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Switzerland, Israel and South Africa.
9. What are the goals of the Roundtable?
  Our goals for the Roundtable 2016 are:

(i) To share research findings and knowledge related to indigenous leader practices;
(ii) To build the knowledge base of indigenous leader practices;
(iii) To connect the knowledge base of indigenous leader practices to the global knowledge base of educational leadership.
10. Do I need to write a paper for the Roundtable?
  We do not require participants to submit formal papers for the Asia Leadership Roundtable 2016, but we highly encourage you to submit formal papers for the conference. Upon your permission, the APCLC and the National Institute of Education, Singapore might publish them in e-conference proceeding and / or APCLC Monograph series.

We request that participants submit papers from 1,500 to 5,000 words in length. Topic should revolve around "Surfacing indigenous leader practices (knowledge)". Details of submission requirements please click here.
11. Will I make a presentation of my paper?
  Participants will not present their papers. The format of the meeting emphasizes interaction,    not academic paper presentation.
12. When is my paper due?
 
If you choose to submit a paper, the schedule is as follows.

-The abstract is due on January 31st , 2016.
-Draft paper is due on March 4th, 2016, if any.
-The full paper is due on June 1st , 2016.
13. Will there be visual audio aids for presentation?
  For the Provocateur sessions, Key Speeches and Provocateur Sessions, computer generated projectors will be provided.


14. What will be the weather in Singapore?
  Singapore has a tropical rainforest climate with no distinctive seasons, uniform temperature and pressure, high humidity, and abundant rainfall. Temperatures usually range from 22 to 35 °C (72 to 95 °F).
