Knowledge Transfer / Academic Exchange Programme –
Leaders' Learning for Scholar-practitioners of
Association of Independent Schools of Northern Territory (AISNT) &
Asia Education Foundation of University of Melbourne (AEF)

The APCLC and the FEHD recently held a Leaders’ Learning Programme for leaders of the Association of Independent Schools of Northern Territory (AISNT) and the Asia Education Foundation of University of Melbourne (AEF).

The leaders visited several schools and took part in several discussions and seminars at The Education University of Hong Kong. Prof. Allan Walker spoke of strategic and intercultural leadership for educational reforms, whilst Dr Darren Bryant explored reforms in 21st century Hong Kong.

The leaders learned about leading world class schools and the success of educational reforms in Shanghai from Dr Qian Haiyan, and compared teacher effectiveness in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangdong with Dr James Ko. Dr Lu Jiafang presented simulations and strategies for successful school leadership and school improvement.
